Thanks to Shutterfly :)
For all of my friends, family, and fellow bloggers, I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Shutterfly. I have used Shutterfly for all of my photo projects and they are absolutely amazing. I have used Shutterfly more than ever lately since my daughter was born in 2007. I believe that my first experience with Shutterfly was ordering birth announcements which were sooooooo cute (and it was so hard to decide on one since there was a huge variety to choose from). We have sent holiday cards every year (www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationary/holiday-cards) and there are always many varieties to choose from. I even create a calendar every year to give as gifts (www.shutterfly/com/calendars) and there are tons of different themes and backgrounds that I am able to choose from. When my daughter was born I created two different photo books for my parents and my in-laws and they came out perfect. I know we are all a little wary of ordering things online (especially when it comes to those precious keepsakes such as photo gifts) but Shutterfly has done an outstanding job with the gifts that I have ordered such as a coffee mug, the photo books, and a mousepad. You are also able to share your favorite photos online with friends and family. I even checked out their birthday invitations (www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationary/birthday-invitations) which I am strongly considering ordering for my daughter's birthday in April. I have a lot of family from out of town (Long Island, NY; California; Colorado; Washington State) and Shutterfly makes it so easy to keep in touch with everyone and share those precious memories. I would strongly recommend Shutterfly to anyone for all of their photo needs. As a major bonus Shutterfly is offering a promotion to all of you bloggers out there so check it out at http://bit.ly/sfly2010 (which includes 50 free holiday cards). What an awesome deal!!!!!! I cant wait to spread the great news :)

Loon Lake 2010
Well we did it again. Our annual Signor summer vacation to Loon Lake (which is in the Adirondacks in upstate NY) was a success. We left around 5:00 the morning of Saturday July 24th and came home the afternoon of Saturday July 31st. Emily was able to spend quality time with her NY cousins and I was able to spend much needed adult time with my sister and brother-in-laws. We went to the beach every day and into Lake George two nights in a row for shopping, fireworks, and a cruise down Lake George aboard the Minne Ha Ha (which is a 1 hr. steamboat ride down the lake). It was great and the scenery was beyond beautiful. Emily got to see Frankenstein twice (whom she loves and was stalking by the way). We could not get her away from him.
Jimmy and I took Emily to the Magic Forest and she loved going on all of the rides. We even got to see a horse dive into a pool of water. Emily especially loved roasting marshmallows by the campfire at night. I think that this was her favorite thing to do besides from hanging out with her cousins all week long. Jimmy let me sleep in almost everyday and took Emily fishing and on boat rides via the motorboat in the mornings (some quality father daughter time). We all had such a fun and relaxing time. There is just something about the mountain air. We are counting down for Loon Lake 2011 :)

4th of July weekend 2010
Well, what is there to say except that we had the BEST weekend ever!!!!!!!!! Friday night July 2, 2010 Jimmy and I had a date night and went out to dinner at Bruce Bittners, had a few beers and saw the movie "Grown Ups" with Adam Sandler and Kevin James (which was hilarious by the way). My parents were kind enough to take Emily for the night (thanks mom and dad). Then we went to pick up Emily on Saturday morning and drove to Susquehanock State Park for a picnic with a view. There we grilled hot dogs and had snacks. Then we took Emily home for a nap and after her nap we went to the 4th of July carnival in Havre de Grace which was sooooooo much fun!!!!! I highly recommend it for the little ones. Emily went on some rides and we had dinner and ice cream and funnel cake (YUMMY). On Sunday Emily had her friend Sarah come over and played outside in the pool, the kids ate lunch, and Emily took a great nap. After her nap we went to go see the annual 4th of July parade in downtown Bel Air. What a great time. We had ice cream and Emily loved the parade. Then we went home and Emily played in her pool for awhile and we had BBQ chicken with corn and grilled shrimp for dinner. Then we made a fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows and made smores. YUMMO :) Emily did not go to sleep until around 10:00 p.m. on the 4th. She had so much fun and by the end of the day was totally worn out. The next morning she did not wake up until 8:30!!!!!! Jimmy was off of work on Monday and we just hung out as a family. Overall what a great weekend!!!!!!! Now the countdown begins until our journey to Loon Lake in upstate NY which is 3 1/2 weeks away!!!!!

Beach 2010
Well we made it home from the beach yesterday afternoon :( We had lots and lots of fun in the sun. We spent 4 nights at the cutest little beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with my parents and my sister and brother-in-law who came in to join us from Boulder, Colorado. Emily loved the beach and playing in the sand. Everyday was spent in the sun on the beach. We had the best beach weather ever!!!!!!!! The first night Jimmy, Emily, and I went out for ribs with my parents (aunt Amy and Uncle Spenser (the veg head and the vegan) did not join us until very late the first night). The second night we grilled steaks and veggies and fresh corn on the cob (YUMMY). The third night we went to Hobo's in Rehoboth for dinner (strongly recommended). Then we went on rides at the boardwalk. Emily loves the rides. The fourth night we went to the beach for cocktail hour then came home and made spaghetti with veggie sauce, salads, and garlic bread after a long morning at the outlets. We had the best brandy Alexander's almost every night (very good thanks to mom). On the last day we packed up to go home and then went to lunch at Dogfish Grill (yummy). We were so sad to say goodbye to everyone :( Especially aunt Amy and uncle Spenser. We will miss you!!!! And now the countdown begins until our journey to Loon Lake.

Clean bill of health :)
Well today was my 3 month f/u with my oncologist and I have been given a clean bill of health for now. YAY!!!! I am slowly getting my strength back and am starting to feel like me again (watch out everyone). I have to go back and see him again in 4 months. The hard part will be motivating myself to go on a diet and exercise. I know this is something that needs to be done in a BIG way but I am not looking forward to doing it (I love food too much). I meet with the dietitian on Friday June 25, 2010 and will formulate a diet plan at that time. This is something that I am actually looking forward to doing.
